CONDITIONS & PRESENTATIONS I CAN SUPPORT
Shoulder Pain, Stiffness & Restricted Movement
Shoulder pain can make everyday movements surprisingly difficult, reaching overhead, getting dressed, sleeping comfortably or simply using your arm without thinking about it. Whether you're dealing with persistent shoulder pain, stiffness or restricted movement, treatment may help support comfort and function.
This can include rotator cuff tendinopathy or tears, subacromial impingement, frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis), biceps tendinitis
Jaw, Head & Facial Tension
Jaw tension isn't always confined to the jaw. Clenching and altered movement can contribute to discomfort through the face, temples, head and neck, and may be associated with headaches or restricted jaw movement.
This may include temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ), jaw tension and associated muscular restrictions.
Back, Hip & Pelvic Pain
Persistent lower back and hip discomfort can affect sitting, standing, walking, exercise and everyday movement. Treatment can support muscular tension, mobility restrictions and contributing movement patterns.
This may include non-specific low back pain, lumbar mobility impairments, piriformis syndrome, quadratus lumborum (QL) dysfunction and proximal hamstring tendinopathy.
Hand, Wrist & Elbow Pain
Pain or restriction in the hands, wrists or elbows can make typing, gripping, lifting and repetitive tasks uncomfortable. Treatment can support muscular tension and movement restrictions associated with repetitive strain and overuse.
This may include RSI, tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome and De Quervain's tenosynovitis.
Leg, Knee, Ankle & Foot Pain
Pain in the lower limb can affect how you walk, exercise and move through everyday life. Treatment may help address muscular tension, restrictions and contributing factors around the knee, lower leg, ankle and foot.
This may include patellofemoral pain, shin splints, gastrocnemius and soleus strains, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy and deep toe-flexor restrictions.
Persistent & Complex Pain
Sometimes pain continues even after an injury has healed or without an obvious structural cause. The nervous system can become more sensitive to signals from the body, making ordinary movement or touch feel more uncomfortable.
I can support clients experiencing persistent pain and presentations involving central or peripheral sensitisation, using an appropriate, graded approach alongside assessment and treatment.
