1 | AFTERCARE GUIDELINES —

​

In order to obtain the optimal benefit from your facial therapy treatment, it is important to follow the basic after care guidelines listed below:

  • Drink plenty of water, juices and herbal teas to flush the body of toxins and speed along the detoxification;

  • Avoid washing your face for up to 8 hours treatment;

  • Avoid wearing make-up for up to 12 hours after treatment;

  • Avoid swimming for up to 12 hours after treatment;

  • Avoid any form of direct heat or stimulation such as sun bed, sauna, hot bath, hot hairdryer, or ultraviolet exposure (sunbathing) for up to 24 hours after treatment;

  • Wear a suitable sunscreen to protect the skin.

2 | PRODUCT & LIFESTYLE CHOICES —

​

It also is important to pay attention to the following:

​

  • Use appropriate products in your homecare regime that are suitable for your skin type in its current season;

  • Pay attention to the factors that could be contributing your ongoing skin health such as diet, sufficient water/fluid intake, exercise, smoking, alcohol, caffeine, lifestyle factors and getting sufficient sleep.

  • Follow your therapist's advice on the nature and recommended frequency of future treatments.
